First Call for Proposals HUSRB/0901

HUNGARIAN-SERBIAN CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR JOINT CROSS-BORDER DEVELOPMENTS (HUSRB/0901)

The National Development Agency of Hungary and the Ministry of Finance of Serbia launched the 1st open Call for Proposals in the framework of the Hungary-Serbia IPA Cross-border Co-operation Programme.

What is the subject of the Call? 

In the eligible cross-border area funding can be received for projects strengthening the economic and social cohesion, for environmental protection as well as for joint R&D activities and cross-border educational, training and exchange projects.

Who can apply?

Non-profit organisations, among others local governments, associations of local governments, foundations, associations, nonprofit limited liability companies, educational institutions, chambers. In the projects at least one organisation from Hungary and at least one organisation from Serbia are to be represented from the eligible cross-border area.

What is the overall amount of funding? 

Within the framework of the present Call for Proposals EUR 16.607.511 Community funding (IPA) will be available. The projects will be supported in Hungary by the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) and the Republic of Hungary, and in Serbia by the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA).

Applicants can learn more about the content of the application package at the Opening conference and on the Information Days, to be organised on the following dates in the following cities: 26th October 2009 in Szeged, 28th October 2009 in Novi Sad, 29th October 2009 in Subotica, 03rd November 2009 in  Zrenjanin and 04th November 2009 in Baja.  

How to apply?

All applications have to be submitted in English language to the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) in Budapest. The deadline for submitting the applications is by 31 December 2009. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation.
